Zwischen der wildromantischen Bode und dem Wendhusenklosterkomplex, liegt er umgeben von einem alten Baumbestand, im Altstadtbereich der Mythenstadt Thale. In ca. 15 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß den Rathausplatz. Geht man weiter, ist man in ca. 10 – 15 Minuten am Eingang zum Bodetal.
